About Naomi's Candies
Naomi’s Candies was founded in 2002 by Naomi Privett, turning a simple family recipe into a thriving homemade candy business.
In 2001, while expecting her first child, Naomi was working one day a week at a local café and dreaming of a way to stay home and raise her family. For an employee appreciation party, she made small gift bags of hard tack candy using a treasured recipe passed down from her late mother. The café owner loved the candy and offered Naomi the opportunity to sell it in the café. Within the first two weeks, 14 bags were sold, and the business quickly began to grow.
As demand increased, Naomi expanded her offerings to include gourmet chocolates such as truffles, turtles, mint meltaways, and many other sweet treats. With the help of her husband and family, a licensed kitchen was built in her garage, allowing the business to continue expanding. Today, Naomi’s Candies operates from a full licensed kitchen at her home, where she continues to craft handmade confections for customers near and far.
What began as a family recipe and a dream has grown into a successful business that has allowed Naomi to fulfill her goal of raising her children while pursuing her passion for creating delicious homemade candies.
