Take a short walk from the Shipshewana Visitors Center to the Farmstead Inn and you’ll get the chance to be the “I” in the awarded Best IN Indiana Activation, the “I Love Shipshe” 3-D sculpture.

“I Love Shipshe” Sculpture Details

  • Interactive design invites visitors to be the “I” in Shipshe, a nickname for Shipshewana.
  • Measuring 3 feet tall, coated in steel, and handmade by Miller in his workshop
  • The piece features large, metal letters in a playful horse & buggy design.
  • Letters stand 54 inches tall and 28 inches wide.

“The I Love Shipshe’ sculpture could not have been accomplished without the dedication, partnership, and craftsmanship of incredible partners and creators of the CVB. We are grateful for the support of the Farmstead Inn, the Indiana Destination Development Corporation, and craftsman Christy Miller. The work of art is an invitation to visitors to take selfies and explore the walkable streets of Shipshewana.”
