It’s Foodie Friday for us at the Visitors Center. Every Friday we decide on a local eatery for lunch. Don’t ask me why its on Fridays… somehow it’s become a “Foodie Friday” that is highly anticipated! This Friday we decided on El Zorrito 2! That’s right MEXICAN food in Shipshewana!
I ordered the chicken burrito enchilada, Patti had the same, and Beth had a delicious tostada. Look at the size of these things! They are HUGE! Loaded with shredded chicken, rice and beans. Topped with delicious cheese, lettuce and enchilada sauce!
Beth’s tostada was amazing as well, she ordered it with the beef and the shell tasted like it was homemade (yes, that’s right she let me have a bite)! Of course, the El Zorrito 2 chips and salsa came with our meals as well. Their salsa is top notch.
I could not eat it all & now I feel like I need a nap! Hmmmmm – this seems to happen EVERY Friday, eat too much & in need of a nap! Can’t wait till Next Friday… hmmmm wonder where we will eat!?! For current menu items and specials, be sure to follow them on Facebook.
