Harrison Street’s Trees of Giving

Come help us make Christmas a little brighter for families in our community!

November 11-December 15, 2023, participating shops on Harrison Street are having a Christmas Tree Contest to help supply food for local families who need a little help during the holidays.  The participating stores are Cornucopia, Kids Kreations, Shawna Rae’s, 2 Chicks and a Chair and Lasting Impressions.  They will decorate and display a Christmas Tree.  To vote for your favorite tree, simply place non-perishable food items under your tree of choice or place a gift card for groceries or a cash donation in the Jar on their register counter.  Cash donations will be used to buy items off the families’ need list like socks, hats, gloves, toys and toiletries.  Some trees will have Wish items on them.  If you feel inclined to purchase one of the Wish items, they can be dropped off at any participating shop listed.  When you make your donations, make sure to let the staff know, and you will receive a ticket for a chance to win a $100 gift card to Shawna Rae’s, The Black Sheep or Shawna Rae’s Catering.  At the end of the contest, the winning store will be presented with a trophy that they can display in their store for the year.

All items will be delivered and disbursed to the families through the local school system before they break for Christmas.
