Q: What is your favorite part of your job?
A: I love the professional office atmosphere and the knowledge I’ve gained about the town I’ve lived in most of my life. Meeting people from all over the world who come here still amazes me. Creating and collaborating with my co-workers who work as a great team adds a variety of interesting aspects. Getting to know more of the business owners has been a plus as well.
Q: What is your favorite season in Shipshewana, and why?
A: I love fall when the mornings are crisp, but the afternoons are warmed by the sun. The leaves in my neighborhood are stunning as you drive out of town, yet some of the flowers are still in bloom during the transition to fall.
Q: What kind of things do you like to do in your free time?
A: We’re empty nesters, so I have a lot less to do these days after work. I love the beach and have always loved to play golf when I can find the time. I also appreciate our fantastic variety of concerts right here in Shipshewana as I love music of all kinds and have attended several concerts within 3 minutes of my home. Can’t beat that!
