This Holiday Light Show Features Almost 2 Million Lights Throughout the ¾ Mile Walking Path
ELKHART, Ind. – Wellfield Botanic Gardens will light up its 36-acre grounds for the 2026 season of Winter Wonderland Holiday Lights, a walk-through display of nearly 2 million lights. The event opens Friday, November 27th and runs select nights through Saturday, January 2nd.
The display began with about 200,000 lights in its first year and has grown bigger and brighter each season since. Guests follow a three-quarter-mile path through the Gardens, weaving in and out of several garden spaces. Along the way, they’ll find fire pit stops, photo opportunities, and light displays around every corner.
“Winter Wonderland Holiday Lights is my favorite event because community partners volunteer throughout the season through our Giving Tree Program. It’s beautiful to see our community make this event special,” said Kelsee Lucchese, Volunteer and Corporate Events Coordinator, Wellfield Botanic Gardens.
Concessions from Navarre Catering will be available for purchase on site, with cash or credit accepted. Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the Gardens during the event. The Gift Shop will be open for holiday shopping. Pets are not permitted.
