Chili Shuffle

Three downtown LaGrange restaurants will welcome guests on Saturday, February 11, 2023 for the 11th annual Super Bowl Chili Shuffle, sponsored by Focus LaGrange.  Registration has started where an individual, business, church or organization can supply chili for tasting for a $20 registration fee.  Information is available at Linder’s Tavern on Main at 211 S. Detroit Street, LaGrange.  Participants can choose to serve their chili at Linder’s, Fireside Craft Burgers or Five Star Pizza, all located on South Detroit Street.

Contestants must provide their personal equipment and be prepared for the judges’ sampling at 2:30 pm.  First-place prize is $300; second $200 and third $100.  First place also receives a traveling trophy.  Winners will be announced at 5:30 pm at Linder’s.  Public chili tasting is from 3-5 pm.   Tickets for adults are $5 with free tasting for children 12 years old and younger.

The Chili Shuffle has been a main fundraiser for Focus LaGrange, a group of businesspeople and citizens dedicated to helping the town flourish.  Proceeds will stay in the community.
