South Milford Dedication Train

Saturday, Aug 19 2023 @ 2:00 pm In honor of the Veterans Memorial Monument re-dedication in South Milford, climb aboard a 1.5-hour roundtrip excursion featuring vintage steam locomotive No. 765 on the Indiana Northeastern Railroad! Departing at 2:00 PM from the South Milford Grain Company, the trip will feature deluxe coach seats and first-class tickets.
Originally commemorated on August 18th, 1923, the monument was a testament to those from our community who had served the United States in World War I. The South Milford Community Improvement League is planning a centennial re-dedication of the Veterans Memorial in its new location. After the ceremony, lunch will be available at the South Milford Lions Club.

Due to its historic nature, the Indiana Rail Experience is not traditionally ADA-accessible. Cars used on excursions feature steep steps, narrow hallways, and doorways, as well as small restrooms which can present challenges for guests with limited mobility.
