Celebrity Quilter Rob Appell is coming to town for a 3-day event comprised of a trunk show and two hands-on workshops!  Das Dutchman Essenhaus Inn & Conference Center in Middlebury will be the site of the event.

A one-day fiber, fabric and quilting event is also being planned for September 2025, to be held in the beautiful and tranquil Wellfield Botanic Gardens in Elkhart.  Look for updates as they become available on the new website:  www.ElkhartQuiltFiber.org

Our Mission:

The Elkhart County Quilt & Fiber Experience seeks to inspire, encourage and showcase the textile and fiber artisans in our midst through workshops, presentations and demonstrations. Through collaboration, educational opportunities, exhibitions, and juried contests the ECQFE includes a wide variety of textile and fiber arts. The event is open to all, with the goal of building community among those teaching, learning, experiencing and discovering the joy of “textiles and fibers.”
