Maple Syrup Days

It’s a syrup celebration! Join us at this great LaGrange County park to see three different ways to make maple syrup: how we used to do it, how we do it now, and how you can do it at home. Horse wagons carry visitors into the maple woods to see the tapped maples. Interpreters introduce you to the trees and explain their life cycle.

Dress warmly to spend as much time as possible outside and enjoy all Maple Syrup Days has to offer!

Maple syrup themed children’s stories and shows
Horse drawn wagon rides into the Sugar Bush

Maple Syrup Days means Spring is right around the corner, which in Northern Indiana is a big deal – it means we’ve lasted through another winter of snow, freezing temps, and blistering winds.

It will be held the third full weekend in March, 2025 – March 15 & 16th. Times: 7:00 am – 2:00 pm

Parking, event entry and activities are free! Bring money for pancake breakfast, gift shop, snacks & donations. The syrup store is where you can purchase your favorite maple syrup, maple suckers, maple cotton candy and other sweet treats. Cash is preferred but we will accept credit cards with processing fee.
