1. Flea Market Hours
The Shipshewana Flea Market is open 8am to 4pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays from May to September. The mid-week hours add the uniqueness of the seasonal flea market. Can’t make it during the week? The Flea Market has special holiday markets on Memorial Day and Labor Day as well as new weekend dates. Parking is $5 per vehicle but there are no other admission fees.
2. Weekend Dates
Shipshewana Flea Market now has special weekend dates 3rd weekend of June & August (Friday-Saturday 8a-4p). They still have their special extended holiday markets on Memorial Day and Labor Day as well in case you can’t make it on their normal Tuesday and Wednesday during the regular season.
3. Vendors, Vendors and More Vendors!
On average of 300-400 vendors occupying 600+ spaces weekly offering a diverse range products like: handcrafted items, home decor, antiques, and so much more! You’ve never seen shopping like this.

4. Farmer’s Market
Check out the Farmer’s Market area within the Flea Market. Farmer’s Market is easily accessible at all 3 flea market entry points. Inform Parking Attendants you would like to park near Gates 9 & 10. A variety of vendors offering plants, produce, vegetables, fruits and other flowers, shrubs, trees and more for your garden.
5. Food Courts
Be sure to visit one of the food courts on site for sandwiches, drinks, Nelson’s famous chicken and Pit-tatoes. There are also lots of food vendors to visit where you can snack on foods such as ice cream, giant cinnamon rolls, kettle korn, soft pretzels and smoothies. Looking for a sit-down restaurant, try the Shipshewana Auction Restaurant located at the main entrance of the Flea Market.
6. Giveaways
There are giveaways happening every hours during the market day! Sign up at the information book located near the Main Entrance parking lot. Enter to win free meal coupons or even $20 in Flea Market Cash!
7. Antique Auctions
If you are looking to re-purpose or find a unique item, try bidding at the Miscellaneous & Antique Auction. Held all year long, every Wednesday at 9am. Features 6-9 auctioneers selling various antiques & collectibles. Looking for a horse? The weekly horse auctions are held all year long on Fridays.
8. Lodging
Need a place to stay overnight? Shipshewana’s Farmstead Inn & Conference Center is a beautiful country-style hotel featuring a three-story atrium with fireplaces, free hot breakfast buffet, indoor pool and recreation center. Directly located across the street, all overnight guests receive free parking to the Midwest’s Largest Flea Market.
