I’ve lived here most of my adult life and there is one thing I never get tired of: Amish Peanut Butter!  It’s crazy to think that this little condiment can literally be used for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!  If you are unfamiliar with this gooey smooth rich yummy treat, let me tell you a little bit about it…

It is known in the Amish culture as “church spread” which is typically served on bread after church on Sundays.  (Not to say that they don’t indulge in this spread during the week.)

It’s the perfect complement to toast in the morning, on bananas as a mid-morning snack, spread with jam for the ol’ classic PBJ for lunch, for dinner on a hot roll, and for dessert on ice cream!  As you can see, this tasty little treat is the perfect addition to basically anything!  I forgot pancakes! It’s delicious on pancakes with maple syrup!

I also like to simply use a spoon & dive right into the jar!

To make your own peanut butter spread all you need is:

  • Corn syrup (or honey)
  • Marshmallow Fluff
  • Creamy Peanut Butter

Although it’s easier to purchase than make your own… I can’t quite get the consistency right… hmmm.
